At the beginning of his career, he started as a translator for the staging of Broadway musicals in Mexico, such as Wicked and Mary Poppins, as well as assisting director Felipe Fernández del Paso.
In 2010 and 2013 very big shows happened in Mexico, for which David worked as Stage Manager for Worldwide production companies, such as FilmMaster and Five Currents, big producers of massive shows and Olympic Ceremonies: The Bicentennial of Mexico, The 100 years of the Mexican Revolution, The Pan American Games of Guadalajara 2011.
From here the doors of the world opened and he collaborated as Stage Manager in different countries such as Russia, Italy, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Arab Emirates, among others. The most outstanding events he has been part of working for companies such as Five Currents and Balich Worldwide Shows include: Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia and Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Summer Olympic Games Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 2016.
Today he works as Creative Director, Writer and Conceptualizer in VUELA’s projects. Within VUELA he has been Creative Director of the Day of the Dead Parade in two editions, and recent creative director of the 500 years of Coatzacoalcos where he developed a lighting installation of one kilometer long in the breakwater, an aerial show of 200 drones and pyrotechnics and a great parade of half a kilometer long.
